How The Mike Webb Team collects, uses and protects the information you share on this website, who receives it, and how to reach us about it.

Who We Are

This website is run by The Mike Webb Team, LLC: Mike and Claudia Webb, Realtors® with RE/MAX Allegiance, 5100 Leesburg Pike #200, Alexandria, VA 22302. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean The Mike Webb Team.

This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, who receives it and the choices you have. Last updated November 3, 2026.

What This Site Collects

When you fill out a form on this site, such as a contact form, a home value request or a free guide request, we collect what you type in: your first and last name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and your answers to any extra questions on that form, such as your timeline for moving.

If you give a phone number, the form shows a box asking permission to text you. The box is never checked for you. We record whether you checked it, the exact wording you agreed to and the date and time.

Like most websites, the companies that run this site keep standard technical records when you visit, such as your browser type and the pages you open. If you arrived from an ad or a link with a campaign tag, we may note the campaign and the website you came from with your request, so we know which ads work. We do not record the full address of the page you came from.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to answer your question, to send you what you asked for, such as a guide or a home value, and to follow up with you about buying, selling or renting a home. We may also send you market updates and news about our services. You can stop these at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text Messages and Calls

We text you only if you checked the box giving us permission. Once you do, our contact system, Mashore Method, may send you automatic text messages about your request and your move, and we may text or call you ourselves.

Message and data rates may apply, and how often you hear from us varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or reply HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop by email or phone. Agreeing to texts is never required to get help from us.

Who Receives Your Information

We use a few companies to run this website and our business. They handle your information on our behalf:

  • Mashore Method (built on GoHighLevel) is our contact system. Everything you send through a form goes there, and it sends our follow-up emails and texts.
  • Vercel hosts and runs this website.
  • Anthropic provides the AI behind the chat box on this site, when the chat box is turned on. What you type in the chat goes to Anthropic so it can answer.
  • IDX Broker provides the home search on this site, once it is connected. If you save a search or create an account there, IDX Broker collects that information to run the search, and its own privacy policy also applies.
  • YouTube (owned by Google) plays the videos on this site. A video loads from YouTube only when you press play.
  • Google Maps shows the map of our office.

Outside these services, we share your information only with your permission, to help with your move. For example, we may introduce you to a mortgage lender you ask about, or refer you to a real estate agent we trust if you are moving outside the area we serve.

We may also share information when the law requires it, such as to answer a subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Advertising and Analytics

This site uses the Meta pixel (the Facebook and Instagram tracking code) and Google Analytics. These tools use cookies and similar technology to tell us how people find and use this site, to measure which of our Facebook, Instagram and Google ads lead to inquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Meta and Google receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view and the device you use. We never send them your name, email address, phone number or the contents of a form.

You can limit this tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, choose your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings (see Meta's Privacy Policy) and in Google's My Ad Center, and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How Long We Keep It and How We Protect It

We keep your information as long as we need it to help you and to keep the records a real estate business must keep. You can ask us to delete it at any time, as described below.

We use well-known providers with security protections in place, and we limit who on our team can see your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive information, such as bank account or Social Security numbers, through a form or the chat box.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link at the bottom of any email, and stop texts by replying STOP. To make any request, email or call us using the details below, and we will respond as soon as we can.

This site is meant for adults looking to buy, sell or rent a home. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
