What Your Home Is Worth in Buckingham

A free home value from people who walk through your home, not a number from a website.

Your Free Buckingham Home Value

In Buckingham, the units that sold recently in your own community tell you more than any national website. We visit, walk through your condo with you, set it beside those sales and the closest ones in similar garden buildings, and tell you the price we believe it would bring today.

There is no charge and no obligation to list. Ask this month or a few years from now, and you will get a straight answer.

Your Courtyard First, Then the Neighborhood

We start with sales in your own community: which units sold, on which floor, at what size, with what updates and at what monthly fee. Then we look at similar 1930s and 1940s garden condos around North Arlington.

From there we adjust for bedrooms, square footage, light, the view of the courtyard or the street, laundry, parking, the kitchen and bath, and condition. An online estimate cannot tell a freshly painted unit with refinished floors from one that has not changed in decades.

You decide how much to do before you sell. We show you two prices next to each other, one prepared and one as it is. Either way, we list your home and handle the sale.

What Your Assessment Does and Does Not Tell You

Arlington County mails its assessment notices every January. The county says it assesses property at 100% of fair market value as of January 1, and its 2026 residential assessments relied on sales from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025.

Those sales can be more than a year old by the time you list, and the county cannot see your updates or what still needs work. Use the assessment as a guide, not as your price.

What This Fall's Numbers Mean for Your Condo

Across Arlington, Bright MLS reported the median sale price for July through September 2026 at 11.1% above the same months of 2025. That number mixes houses, townhouses and condos, so it tells you little about one garden unit.

Supply matters more for you right now. NVAR found 49.7% more condo and townhouse listings in its Northern Virginia region in September 2026 than a year earlier, against 5.7% more detached homes, and Arlington County had about 3.9 months of supply, up from 3.0. With more units to compare, buyers go first to the ones priced in line with recent sales.

What Buyers Notice in a Buckingham Unit

Small things add up here. Buyers notice whether a unit is on the ground floor or upstairs, how much light comes in, what the fee includes, whether there is laundry in the unit or the building, and how far it is to the bus or Ballston. We factor in each one.

How Your Home Value Visit Works

  • We pick a time that works for you.
  • We tour your condo with you and note what Buckingham buyers compare.
  • We bring recent sales from your community and nearby and show you where yours fits.
  • We give you a price for today and a price for selling as it is.
  • We point out which updates are likely to pay off and which to skip.

Not ready yet? Reach out when you are, and we will refresh the numbers with the latest sales.

When you sell with us, The White Glove Home Sale Method™ covers painting, handyman repairs, staging, deep cleaning and more at no additional cost to you, and we review the price with you every month until your home sells. A condo seller wrote on Zillow: “They told me what to do and my condo sold for asking price almost as soon as I had it ready to sell.” Every home and every market is different.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Buckingham home value free?

Yes. It is free, and there is no obligation to sell or to list with us.

Which sales do you compare my Buckingham condo with?

Recent sales in your own community first, then similar 1930s and 1940s garden condos nearby. We show you every sale we used.

Why is my assessment different from what my home would sell for?

Arlington County values homes as of January 1 using older sales. For 2026, it used sales from September 2024 through August 2025. We use the newest sales and look at your actual home.

Do updates raise the value of an older garden condo?

Some do. Fresh paint, clean or refinished floors and good lighting usually help. A big renovation may or may not pay off, and we tell you which is which before you spend.
