What Your Home Is Worth in Woodmont
A free home value from people who walk through your home, not a number from a website.
Your Free Woodmont Home Value
Woodmont homes were built across more than 60 years, from 1960s contemporaries to brand-new houses, and some sit on wooded lots. A single online number cannot sort all that out. We come see your home and lot, compare them with the closest recent sales and tell you what we believe your home would sell for today.
There is no fee and no obligation to list. Ask now or when you are closer to moving, and you will get an honest answer with no pressure.

Choosing Sales That Fit Your Home
Woodmont is small, so we look at its recent sales and then at similar homes in Cherrydale, Maywood, Donaldson Run and other nearby streets. A contemporary is compared with other contemporaries, a 1990s Colonial with homes of the same era, and a new build with new builds.
We then adjust for the lot and its setting, bedrooms and baths, any addition, the kitchen and baths, the lower level, the roof, windows and systems, and parking. Those are the details that make one Woodmont home worth more or less than another.
You decide how much to do before you sell. We show you two prices side by side, one prepared and one as it is. Either way, we list your home and handle the sale.
What Your Assessment Does and Does Not Tell You
Arlington County mails its assessment notices every January. The county says it assesses property at 100% of fair market value as of January 1, and its 2026 residential assessments relied on sales from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025.
Those sales can be more than a year old by the time you list, and the county cannot see your updates or what still needs work. Use the assessment as a guide, not as your price.
The Arlington Market Behind Your Number
For July through September 2026, Bright MLS reported Arlington's median sale price up 11.1% from a year earlier. That covers every type of home in the county, so it shows the general direction, not your home's value.
House sellers face less new competition than condo sellers this fall. NVAR found 5.7% more detached listings in its Northern Virginia region in September 2026 than a year earlier, versus 49.7% more condos and townhouses, and Bright MLS put Arlington at about 3.9 months of supply that month, up from 3.0. Buyers compare carefully when they have choices, so your price should match real nearby sales.
What Buyers Value in a Woodmont Home
Buyers here pay attention to light and layout, updated kitchens and baths, a dry, finished lower level, the age of the roof and heating and cooling, a private yard, parking and the setting of the lot. We show you which of these your home already has and which are worth improving before you list.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Woodmont home value free?
Yes. It costs nothing, and you have no obligation to sell or to list with us.
How do you value a 1960s contemporary?
We compare it with recent sales of similar contemporary homes nearby and adjust for condition, updates and the lot, so the price fits your home.
Why is my assessment different from what my home would sell for?
Arlington County values homes as of January 1 based on older sales. Its 2026 values used sales from September 2024 through August 2025. We use the latest sales and see your home in person.
Does my wooded lot affect my home's value?
It can. Privacy, light, slope and tree care all play a part. We compare your lot with those of similar homes that sold nearby.
